What a happy month it has been – son James got engaged to his lovely Australian girlfriend, Sonja, while they were down for the Bank Holiday weekend He popped the question down at the Lizard – very romantic! Wedding plans are afoot with Cape Town in the frame as a good half-way spot between Oz and the UK. Rather a nice case of full circle, as James’s Grandmother was South African and she got married in Cape Town almost to the day they have chosen.
Farmwise, the grass is some slow in getting going this year.
Garden-wise, I have posted a picture of this squirrel embracing the birdseed feeder while hanging on to the bird table support for dear life and scoffing all the nyjer seed! The finches not happy. Also there’s a picture of the wisteria on the front of the farmhouse – the number of flowers has been amazing.
